* GEMSPI 2010 Annual Town Hall at Marriott Hotel

It's my third time to attend the GEMSPI Annual Town Hall (Christmas Party) and this time I was asked to be one of the official photographers for the event.

The party was held at Marriott Hotel Manila near NAIA Terminal, registration starts 4pm and after the registration giveaways was given to employees. Photo booths are also available for employees who wanted to have souvenirs for the event.

The theme this year was "Latino Nights" to be honest I don't know who suggested that theme but the party is more on dancing. In the past parties there is the Fashion Walk off where selected employees from GE would walk off the stage but this year they removed it and replaced it with "Represent" which is a dance competition event per Portfolio. Another event is also the yearly GEMSPI Idol which is of course a singing contest and this year Sir Ricardo from the Spanish/OVN Portfolio got the votes after singing a very nice Frank Sinatra song.

Food was okay, Beef, Pasta, Fish, Chicken but what I liked is the desserts. The cheesecakes that was served during the party was awesome. Fast service was also provided by the waiters.

* Team Anj Year End Party

It's already December and of course Christmas is all in the mind of everyone. Our team (at work) recently decided to do an early Christmas team party at our friend's house at BF Paranaque. It was celebrated early because our boss is going to India with other supervisors from the company. Everyone is assigned to bring food and mine was pork barbecue.

Another nice about the party is most of my team mates just like me is into Korean music (K-pop) so we agreed to buy this shirt at Giordano with "Annyeong Haseyo" printed in the front of the shirt.

The party was suppose to start by 8:30am because my boss is leaving by 12pm, some of my team mates had a shift before the party so most of them are still sleepless. When I arrived everyone is preparing the food and gifts for the monito/monita are already ready as well. The first activity was the exchange gift, my gift are blank DVD's and I'm glad my team mate liked it. I got a Paolo Coehelo book and I was happy about it. After the exchange gift is a dance performance by the girls in our group (Spice Girls) then of course eating the food and last would be the games and drinking session.

Everyone had fun and some left early because they still have work at night.

* GE Volunteer: Computer Lab Construction

It was my first time to join the GE Volunteer group in our company. GE Volunteers are people who participates with activities in helping people. The group has alot of activities, recent activities are feeding programs, Gawad Kalinga, Turtle Hatching and more. I was invited by a friend so I joined. The activity today (May 15, 2010) is helping the construction of a computer laboratory for Townsville Highschool in Bulacan. Meeting place is in the office at 5am. Shuttle and food was provided by the Project heads. We arrived the location around 7:30am even though it's traffic because of the fire incident. The project is also joined with FH (Food for the Hungry) and volunteers from GE (The Fort).

Safety instructions was discussed while eating breakfast. It was a field work and it's really hot because of the sun but we are able to finish our goal for that day. Activity ended around 2pm. It was a nice experience especially when you know you are helping other people at the same time having fun and meeting new people. It's been a while as well since my last volunteer work which with SFC (Single's for Christ). I can say I am really looking forward for the next activity :)

* KC and the Sunshines Q1 Team Building

We have been together for almost 2 years and I can say I am really proud to be a member of this team since I started working with GE. My Boss, Coach and my team mates are all cool. I can say we worked hard and had fun being together as a team. I can say I will surely miss everything even though we are still in the same office but not together as one team anymore. Like what they always say "The only constant thing in this world is change" and all I have to do is to adjust and go with the flow and maybe it's going to be a new challenge for me this time being transferred to a different team.

Last Sunday we had our last Team Building which at Starmall Alabang, "Health Ahead" is our theme so we played bowling and it's my 1st time to play the game and I can say it's fun, Pizza is served and sodas while we are playing. After Bowling we went to Barquo and drink till 1am haha I was so drunk. Took photos of our team building.

2nd time to do modelling

The original date for the company's Christmas party was supposed to be the 13th but it was moved to the 20th for some reason. This is my 2nd Christmas party with my company GE Money Servicing Philippines. I am excited and at the same time a little nervous because I was included again to represent our Portfolio (Chervon) for the Annual Fashion Walk Off, I can say last year was really not cool. The theme of the party is Fierce and Fabulous (Red) so everyone is wearing red. Party started a little bit late, us and the other models are seated in a different location. Speech was given by the Site Leader and Awards and raffles are also given.

Food was served and it was great, I can say I loved the Sushi and Salad. After eating the Boss from different Portfolio's danced and it was really nice, Dance contest also happened after that and finally the Fashion Walk Off, Carlos Agassi (model, actor and body builder) was one of the judge. Everything went well and all the designs are great, unfortunately we didn't win but that's okay. Party ended around 10pm and we took photos with friends and teamates during the party.

* 1st Quarter Team Building at Leslies Tagaytay 05.30.09

It's the Team's 1st Quarter team building for 2009, We decided to had a team dinner at Leslie's Tagaytay. We meet at our office, meeting time is 3 pm and we left around 6pm *it was already late. They ordered alot of food and I was so full. We took alot of photos afte having dinner, weather is not cooperating during that day because it rains every now and then. After dinner me and some of my teamates decided to go to Saguijo to attend the bars 5th anniversary.

* Black and Bling | GE X-Mas Party

It's my 1st X-Mas party for my current company which is GE Money Servicing (Alabang). It was held in a Sunday which I have work at 10pm. I'm excited at the same time not because of the annual fashion catwalk for the party which I myself is one of the participants. I did not volunteer to join but my team picked me during my off to represent our team wah. There are two in each team, one girl and guy. Anyways they made and designed the outfit for me and my partner. To be honest I don't have any modeling experience and this is my 1st time and it was really really scary. Yes I do attend modeling events but I don't have any idea on how to do the walk and pose. Sunday came and I went to the office to ride the shuttle from our office to Hillsborough (location of the party) The party's theme is Black and Bling so I wear blackk on that day. Bought Toki (my cam) and took photos of my teamates and my friends. Food is ok but I wasn't able to eat alot because Model (as they call) must be in the backstage on a given time and must prepare. Wasn't able to drink beer as well because of that. Battle of the bands first before the catwalk. Our account's band played a song by Mr. Big where my Supervisor is the bassist. After the battle of the bands, the moment came and we must now walk in front of the people. Damn I was so shy but just look straight and did not ignore the people screaming, taking photos and more. Unfortunately I didn't win as expected by my partner won *Yey

After tha catwalk I went straight to the office and logged in. I was 35 mins late haha thank God they did not gave me warning for that.

* KC and The Sunshines Team Building

Day 1:
It's our 3rd team building for the year, we won as the best team for November for our account so we have extra funds to use for our team bulding. The team have decided to spent it in La Iya, Batangas. I'm on leave during the week and we met in the office 8am. I was so hungry that's why I ate in Mc Donald's forst with my friend Rio then meet my teamates in fron of our office building. There are 3 vehicles Fry, Robert and a rented van. I rode with Fry and her wife Nova. It's been a long drive from Alabang to La Iya, Batangas. I think it took us 3-4 hours. We arrived around 12-1 already. Place is ok, it looks calm but the thing is the weather is not that cool. It was raining every now and then so it was so damn cold. Anyways we started taking photos and the others prepares the food, some slept because some still has no sleep from their shift. Food was really good and we all ate together just like one family and after that we walk and explore the place and I took photos. After hanging out in the beach I decided to take a nap and woke up around dinner time and glad dinner is already ready. After eating we had our group activity and discussion about business and personal matters. It was really sad because some of the our teamates has to leave because of some issues. We end up drinking and watching the Pacquiao-Dela Hoya Pre Fight show in GMA 7 and slept around 3am.


Day 2:


We woke up around 8am and ate breakfast then went to the beach. To be honest I didn't swim in the beach because it was so cold and then again took photos. It's still raining in the morning. Around 10am we decided to fixed our things and decided to leave. Hoping to watch the Pacman fight. It was faster on our way home and it was so quiet in the road because of the Pacman fight. I got in Laguna around 12:30pm.
