It’s been a while since my last entry here in blog. I was busy with my regular job and my job as a sports photographer for ABS-CBN Sports covering UAAP Season 75 games.
I’ve heard a few months ago about Up Dharma Down’s latest album launch to be held at One Esplanade. I missed the one in Saguijo due to other commitments and I told myself that I will not miss the album launch at One Esplande.
Unfortunately, I do not have friends available that day who can join me with the gig but I still went there and watched. There’s a lot of people and the line outside was long. The album launch was really an awesome experience, this is my first time to watch UDD’s album launch. The band not only played the new songs but also songs from the previous albums including “Oo”, “Sana”, “Taya” and more.
Congratulations Up Dharma Down :)

* Kamikazee 4th Album Launch
Finally I’m back with music photography after several months. I was
kinda busy with sports photography for ABS-CBN Sports in the past 6
months. I was able to attend and told myself I wouldn’t miss the 4th
album launching of Kamikazee held at B-side Makati.
Album cost 300 bucks and would entitled 2 person in the event. It’s nice
to be early to get a good spot to take photos during the event.

* Revolver X The Foundation at Saguijo
Saturday night and Cris Ramos of Revolver Productions invited me in facebook about his event at Saguijo, checked out the band lineup and all bands are good. Invited my college friend Ace to watch and I did take some photos during the event. First time to watch Flying Ipis and they are great, and as always Techy Romantics, Hilera, Turbo Goth and The Butchercons same good music.
Stayed till 2:30am for Turbo Goth. Even though late, still a great set.

* Rock for Peace
09.29.11 | Eastwood City, Libis
Saw the event at the Taken By Cars facebook page and I told myself that I would definitely watch this gig. Great lineup (Franco, Butchercons, December Ave, Typecast, Urbandub, Taken by Cars, Radioactive Sago and more) what more can you ask? With just 2 hours of sleep I went to Eastwood City to watch, too bad I wasn't able to take photos of Franco but I did with the other bands.
Here are some of the photos I took during the event :)

* Kamikazee 11th Anniversary at B-Side Makati
August 22, 2011 is the day that the Kamikazee band celebrated it's 11th anniversary in the music industry in the Philippines.
Kamikazee has never celebrated an anniversary for their band and finally they did this year for the band’s 11th Anniversary for being in the OPM scene. Event was held at B-Side Makati, I was with my fellow photographer Trif and we arrived early 8:30pm I guess to get a good spot and the weather is kinda bad that day and good thing we are early because it rained hard later that night and Makati was flooded and bad news was several bands like Moonstar88 and Hilera wasn’t able to make it because of the rain and the flood.

* Hilera "Kid in a Coma" Album Launch

The last time I was at Saguijo was early last year and finally I'm back at Saguijo. This time for Hilera's 3rd album launching "Kid in a Coma". Saw the line up at the Saguijo's website and the bands listed is good and at the same time support for Hilera. Since some of my friends are not available I've decided to go there and shoot alone, I arrived at Saguijo around 8:45pm and show has not yet started, 150 bucks for the entrance with 1 free beer. I was able to get a good spot to take photos (in front and near the aircon).
Around 9pm the show has started bands played Granada, The Royals, Giniling Festival, Kamikazee, Pupil, The ButcherCons, Gaijin and of course Hilera. Show was awesome and every band performed well and the attendees are all shouting, jumping, singing and happy. It was also nice seeing Ely Buendia and Raymund Marasigan (Eraserheads) played together with Hilera.

Hilera Merchandise was also sold outside 350 bucks for Hilera Shirt, 50 bucks for two Hilera Pins and Sticker and 150 bucks for "Kid in a Coma" Hilera album. Got an album, black shirt and the pins.
