Again I am back into sports photography and now I'm covering the Shakey's V-League Women's Volleyball Season 8 (1st conference) Finals between ADMU (Ateneo) vs AdU (Adamson). Adamson has dominated the league in the past seasons and has won against Ateneo during their previous SVL Finals meet up. Ateneo is leading 1-0 in the finals series winning Game 1.
Adamson started strong in the first set winning it 24-26. Ateneo bounced back during the second and third set with the scores of 25-18 and 25-22. I though Ateneo would finish the game but Adamson fights back and pushed the game into set five 19-25. The set started with both teams scoring but Ateneo made stops and finished the set 15-11.
Charo Soriano the rookie coach of Ateneo who is also a former player of the team is really happy because this is the first SVL championship for the team. MVP award goes to Team Captain and setter Jem Ferrer of ADMU.
