* UAAP Season 75 Volleyball DLSU vs ADMU Round 2

One of the biggest game for Philippine Volleyballis the game between DLSU Lady Spikers and the ADMU Lady Eagles held usually at San Juan Arena but now the game was held at SM Mall of Asia Arena. The place is jam packed and the first game is also a good one between UST and NU.

The bouncers and management are strict when it comes to photographer, good thing I was able to get a seat near the net from start until the game ends. The place is really loud with all the cheer and shout from the La Salle and Ateneo supporters. If you can remember both teams met during the UAAP Season 74 Finals where DLSU winning the series 2 games to 1.

The DLSU Lady Spikers defense helped them sweeping the game 3 sets to none. Best player of the game Michelle Gumabao scored and played defense helping the DLSU Lady Spikers remain at the top spot of the team standing.

* UAAP 75 - DLSU vs ADMU

The most awaited game every year between the rivals DLSU and ADMU. Famous personalities are watching including former President Erap Estrada, former Chief Justice Renato Corona, former DLSU and ADMU players JV Casio and JC Intal and more.

Ateneo had a good start but DLSU was able to catch up with the help of LA Revilla but DLSU fell short after a few errors.

It was a close and exciting game between the two teams but FEU won the game, thanks Tolomia's clutch jumper.

* 2012 Filoil Flying V Hanes Cup Finals - NU vs DLSU

It's now time to determine who is the tougher team between National University Bulldogs and the De La Salle Green Archers for the FilOil Flying V Pre Season Hanes Cup Finals. 

It was a close game and both team showing their desires in winning the game but NU and their leader Bobby Ray Parks Jr. lead the team with crucial baskets during crunch time. DLSU's rookie Jeron Teng also struggled but Vosotros and Revilla helped the team with scoring.

End game NU won the championship. Now the UAAP Season 75 is more tougher with contenders like National University.

 

 

 

 

 

 

* 2012 Filoil Flying V Hanes Cup - DLSU vs SSC-R

Last game for the day between the DLSU Green Archers against the San Sebastian Stags. It was a close and physical game from the start and things get nasty when SSC-R ace player Calvin Abueva gaved Joshua Webb an elbow in the mouth and Webb retaliates giving them both a Technical Foul. First half ends 42-43 with a Calvin Abueva buzzer beater jump shot.

Second half started and still a close game, Jeron Teng played well with LA Revilla and Almond Vosotros leading the archers and middle of the 4th quarter Calvin Abueva was thrown out for his second technical foul giving Jeron Teng an elbow in the face. Without Calvin Abueva SSC-R had a hard time with the Archers until the end of the game. Archers won 84-70 and moving to the semi finals against the unbeated San Beda Red Lions

 

 

 

 

* UAAP 74 Women's Volleyball Finals: DLSU vs ADMU Game 3

I wasn't able to cover Game 2 but I was able to cover the most important game of all. With momentum on DLSU's side, La Salle came out strong and outclassed their rivals defeating them 3 sets to none 23-16, 25-22 and 25-13.

DLSU is again the UAAP Women's Volleyball Champion (back to back)

Finals MVP was awarded to Team Captain Cha Cruz.
