* Burlesque: FHM Philippines 2011 100 Sexiest Party

My second tme to attend an FHM Philippines 100 Sexiest party and this time I can say the set up is better but getting a ticket is very very hard. Thanks Vince for giving me a ticket. I was able to get a good position to shoot this time using my 70-200mm f/2.8 Sigma lens.

* Open Shoot at Cainta, Rizal

After several months I was able to join a model shoot and this time with 4 FHM Models and with 20+ photographers at Cainta, Rizal. I just saw this open shoot posted at Facebook organized by Erp Puente. My friends are joining the shoot so I was encourage to join as well, since I don't know the location we all decided to meet at Trinoma around 10:30am and went to the location around 12:30pm. Food was provided and we are divided into 4 groups and we are group 1 so we are the one's who will shoot first.

Even though I'm still sleepless and tired I'm happy I was able to take good photos and I skipped work (lol). I got home I think 12mn. Anyways hope you would like the sample photos posted below.

* FHM January 2011 featuring Carla Humphries

It's my second time to meet this month's FHM cover girl Carla Humphries. It was a good start for FHM Philippines to have a new cover girl and the FHM issue itself is very nice and classy. I can say that FHM magazine has evolved and ay time passes by it improves and becomes better that's why FHM is still the number one Men's magazine here in the Philippines.

Anyways back to the cover girl, Carla Humphries is a commercial model and actress here in the Philippines. She apperared in different TV shows like Berks and more, She also appeared in movies like First Romance, First Day High and more. Carla was really nice and I'm glad that I had my FHM copy signed.

* Meeting Ellen Adarna again :)

After 2 years I was able to meet Ellen Adarna again, thanks to FHM. Ellen Adarna's meet and greet was held at Robinson's Place Galeria Movie World and it's been months or I can say years since I saw the line that long. Everyone wants to meet Ellen Adarna who was before an internet celebrity and now everyone has a chance to talk to her and have a photo with her.

Event should start by 6pm but it started around 6:40pm but it was ok and it's worth the wait, when Ellen came there are I think 6-8 guards and looks like in a police or marine uniform but the good thing is they are not strict this time.

Had my chance and had my latest FHM issue signed and showed Ellen our photo together way back 2008 at Ascend and she was surprised to see it. Thanks FHM and Ellen Adarna for ending my 2010 with a blast, more power and looking forward for your issues next year :)

It was an early Christmas gift for FHM fans for their current issue. Ellen Adarna is the cover girl for FHM this month with Xander Angeles for the photos.

Almost everyone knows Ellen Adarna from being an online celebrity through her friendster then to fame, her photos are all over the net and mobile phones. Ellen Adarna is now in showbiz appearing in different shows in GMA 7 including Bubble Gang. I was lucky to met her 2008 at an event held at Ascend and she was really nice.

The Latest FHM issue is very classy and surprises it's readers (as always) with it's contents, for the current issue they featured the Premiere Vixen winners Karen Bordador, Christine Marquez and Paulene So, they also featured the Eye Candies led by Nestle Garcia. Former Mocha member Grace Oracion is also featured and more.

FHM is getting better and better and looking forward for the next issue and of course the event for this month's issue.

* Pool and Pole FHM Vixens Victory Party

Christine Marquez, Paulene So and Karen Bordador, the winner of the FHM Premiere Condoms search for the Ultimate Vixens throws a party at Liquid Pool and Party Lounge at Manila Ocean Park. The Eye Candies are also there to perform and to entertain the people who attended the event.

* FHM November 2010 featuring Ehra and Michelle Madrigal

For the two months in a row now I skipped attending the monthly FHM Autograph Signing but good thing my magazines are still signed (Thanks to my friends). This month FHM featured the Madrigal sisters, Ehra and Michelle who is also one of the castaways in the on going show in GMA 7 Survivor Philippines Celebrity Edition.

The issue was very nice, it featured the 1971 Meralco Reddies which is considered the toughest basketball team assembled in the Philippines, RRJ girls, reviews and of course the nice and classy photos of the Madrigal Sisters by Doc Marlon.

* Haunting Pleasures: FHM Premiere Vixens Victory Party

Finally it's time to choose who will be the Ultimate Premiere Condoms Vixen. Event was held at LAX near SM Mall of Asia. It was down to 6 Finalist Paulene So, Sofie Garucho, Christine Marquez, Karen Bordador, Jahziel Manabat and Abby Poblador. It was my first time at LAX and I can say they are kinda strict with everything, they won't allow you to enter if you don't have an ID, DSLR's are not allowed and more. Place is kinda small for an event but for just a regular night out or party I can say it's fine. Event started a bit late and they had some games where a sexy dance contest for guys with two girls dancing with them, our friend Vince was really unlucky we all pointed at him and he was invited to join. Lucky he won because we are screaming "Take it Off" and the girls removed her shirt, unbuttoned his jeans and lowered it down and damn we are laughing and screaming out loud and of course he won.

Then finally the moment everyone is waiting for is the fashion show, all contestants who joined the search for the Ultimate Vixen was there except for Jem Milton. Kitty Girls performed and after that the finalist had a short sexy fashion show in their lingerie. The announcement of awards came and Sofie won as the most daring Vixen, and Jahziel and Abby won the sexiest curves. Now everyone is holding their breathe and waiting for the announcement of the winner, everyone was in shock when they announced that it was 3 way tie, everyone was like "What?" but anyways congratulations to the winners Christine, Karen and Paulene. Afterwards we went out and just hang out and grabbed some food at Shakey's Makati Ave. It was a nice and funny night and everyone went home laughing because of Vince.

* Run Rides Rave

Run Rides Rave is a whole day event that started with a fun run followed by a car show then bikini fashion show, a concert and a pool party held at Manila Ocean Park. Sponsored by the Philippines Number one Men's Magazine FHM this event was really successful despited of the bad weather. Ticket cost 400 bucks but the Fun Run and Car show part is free. Ticket entitles everyone to watch the show at Aquatica, two cocktail drinks, to watch the FHM bikini and fashion show and a live performance of Tanya Markova, EB babes, October 2010 Cover Girl and PBB Housemate Wendy Valdez and Letter Day Story.

It was like a soft opening of the Liquid Bar at Ocean Park, where people can drink, enjoy and get wet with the indoor pools. It was nice attending the event and meeting and seeing my friends enjoy the party.

* FHM September 2010 Issue with Bianca Manalo

It's the "BER" month and FHM has a new cover girl beauty queen (2009 Bb. Pilipinas - Miss Universe) and actress Bianca Manalo. The September issue is a dual cover where Bianca is on the other side while Cesar Montano is on the other side. There's a lot of good interviews like the one with Senator Cheese Escudero.

The issue cost 150 pesos and it's all worth it, I like the photos of Bianca Manalo, the reviews and the other content of the issue.

The Autograph Signing for Bianca Manalo was held September 4, 2010 at Robinson's Movie World (6pm - 8pm). The line is not that long and I can say that the signing kinda sucks, until now I can't figure out not only me but other FHM supporters/fans why there is a need for bouncers (not one but two) in the event. They are so strict it's like we are at the high-end bar. To FHM staff if your reading this I hope you could make improvements with your autograph signing because those bouncers really doesn't belong there. There's a lot of signing that happened without any bouncers involve and it was fun and successful. They only allowed one signature at the cover of the issue which is fine for me. Hoping for more improvements and looking forward for the next issue.

* FHM August 2010 Issue with Priscilla Meirelles

This would be the first time that Priscilla Meirelles would cover for FHM Philippines. She already covered for other Men's magazine and finally FHM. Priscilla was born September 5, 1983 from Brazil and won the 2004 Miss Earth pageant held in the country.

The August issue is different from the previous FHM issues because of the 3D pages of the magazine. Photos of FHM babes like Angel Locsin, Cristine Reyes, Katrina Halili, Iwa Moto and more from previous issues were featured in the August issue in 3D and the issue comes with the glasses to enjoy and see the 3D effect in the magazine. The issue also featured the Premiere Vixens. The issue also has a gimik guide where the coolest place in the metro is located.

It's my 3rd time meeting Priscilla and I can say she's tall and she's really really nice as always.

* FHM 100 Sexiest Party 2010

It's my first time to attend a 100 sexiest FHM party and a good friend Vince gaved me a ticket for the event. As expected there's a lot of people mostly guys are falling in line outside World Trade Center. We are able to get inside around 8:30pm. There's alot of booths inside for GBX, Premiere Condom, Citizen Watch and RRJ. Beers are also being sold inside 50 bucks per can. The set up of the stage is for me not that good because for us Non-VIP ticket holders we can only see part of the stage because photographers are in front of the stage taking photos. So what we could only do is just watch in the big screen, I didn't put an effort to take photos in front because it's kinda hot in the venue because there's a lot of people. Bad thing as well is two of my friends and I've heard other people including models had their fones stolen in the said event.

The show was fine and the ladies, models and celebrities walk and ramp in the stage. There is a magic trick performance which is also part of the show. Iwa Motto, Sam Pinto, Saicy Aguila, Premiere Vixens and more ramp in the stage and lastly FHM's 2010 #1 in the 100 sexiest women in the Philippines came from above the stage in angel wings non other than Angel Locsin.

Too bad I wasn't able to take photos during the fashion show but I was happy to see my friends in the said event, wasn't able to attend the after party at LAX because I'm also not feeling well. Hopefully a better stage set up next year. Congrats FHM :)

* FHM July 2010 Issue with Sam Pinto

Sam Pinto (Samuelle Lynne Acosta Pinto) born December 11, 1989 is a fashion design student, commercial model and also from the reality show Pinoy Big Brother: Double Up is July 2010's FHM cover girl and photos by Xander Angeles. Together with the the July issue is the 100 sexiest list where Angel Locsin is back on top at number 1.

The autograph signing event of Sam Pinto is different this time compare to the previous ones, there's alot of fans who fall in line to meet her personally. With the management of FHM they only allowed a sign at the cover of the magazine.

* FHM June 2010 Issue with Max Eigenmann

After missing two FHM event finally I was able to attend again this month's FHM Autograph signing, I can say I got excited because the cover girl is new and to be honest I haven't seen her in the tube (because I don't watch the tv too much). The event was held at the Robinson's Galeria Supermarket area and I thought I will never make it because of the traffic and good thing I was able to make it by around 6:30pm. The security this time is not that strict compare to the previous signing where there are bouncers and at the same time the line is not that long.

I can say Max Eigenmann is pretty and she smiles to the person who would ask for her autograph although she's doesn't talk and like everyone says it's like she's not in the mood in signing the magazine but anyways possible she's tired from a taping or whatever and for me I am glad I had my copy sign. * FHM March 2010 Issue with Bangs Garcia

Yesterday (April 13, 2010) is the schedule for the FHM March issue autograph signing. I already had my copy signed by Bangs during the FHM-X Party so I came in this event so that Iwa could sign my copy as well. Unfortunately only Bangs is there to sign the FHM March issue. Even though it's a little bit disappointing I can say I had fun because Bang is really really pretty and nice, saw my friends as well who regularly attend FHM events. The line is not that long and the event ended around 7:15pm. I really hate it when there are bouncers in the signing even though they are really not that needed in that event because they are really that strict, c'mon dude we are not in the Club for you to do security like that. Anyways hope the next event would be better.

* FHM-X (10th) Anniversary Party at NBC Tent

It was my first time to attend an FHM Philippines party, mostly I'm only attending their signings but not the party. This one was really special because it's not an ordinary event but it's the celebration for 10th year of FHM here in the Philippines. We congratulate them for their success and for making the readers satisfied with every issue. I can say that FHM became better as time goes by. The party is not public and I am happy a friend gave me a ticket. Saw my friends in the event as well enjoying the party, the unlimited booze, food and the girls.

Event was hosted by the Boy's Night Out DJ's and there is a fashion show where the featured babes in the FHM walked the runway, also the Premiere Vixen girls and the previous cover girls was there like Katrina Halili, Aubrey Miles, Eula Valdez, Iwa Motto, Bangs Garcia, Katya Santos and more. Party started around 8:30pm and ended around 12:30am. I was glad to meet some of the cover girls and even had my latest issue signed by Bangs Garcia. I wanted to congratulate FHM for their success and like we always say to them "More classy issues to come"

* FHM Philippines January 2010 with Jackie Rice

My first event for 2010 is for FHM. I would miss other events except for FHM events because I am really a big fan of the magazine. FHM's issue this 2010 features a new face from GMA Reality TV show Starstruck Jackie Rice. This is her first time to cover for FHM and I can say she has alot of photos and all of them are nice. Photos are divided into two sets. I can say FHM is getting better as time goes by. More articles and more babes for readers. For this month I like sneakers part where the mag featured the top sneakers. Movie and Games reviews are also cool.

Since I can't attend the FHM signing this Friday *January 15, 2010* we just decided to attend the Radio tour from 2pm - 7pm. We went to the first stop which is Jam 88.3 then Wave 89.1 and lastly NU 107. We are able to have our magazines signed and have a photo with Jackie Rice. Editor in Chief Sir Allan is also in the radio tour and he is also very nice to us. I've heard that Ruffa Mae would be the cover girl for February and I can say I'm looking forward to that, haven't met her in person and maybe this would be my chance. More power to FHM.

* FHM Philippines December 2009 issue with LJ Reyes

The first FHM event for December 2009 was supposed to be last December 11 but unfortunately cover girl LJ Reyes was sick during that day so the FHM event was moved to December 19 (Saturday) and will be held at the same location as always at teh Robinson Galeria Movie World. I was not feeling well during that day but I told myself this would be my last event for 2009 and I at the same time I wanted to meet LJ Reyes and have my December issue personaly signed by her. FHM meet and greet with LJ Reyes is scheduled from 6pm - 8pm and I arrived around 6pm and the line is not that long compared to the previous signings. The event was hosted by Sam YG of Magic 89.9 FM and the signing started around 6:30pm.

LJ Reyes (Lourna Jane Pujeda Reyes) by the was is a runner up for the second season of GMA 7's reality TV show Starstruck, she mentioned that her birthday is December so she thinks that maybe this month is the month that she should try posing for FHM, which is her first time as well to pose for a men's magazine.

LJ Reyes was really nice and friendly during her meet and greet and even asked for continuous support for next year. The event is very organized and it went well. Till the next FHM event for 2010.

* FHM Philippines November 2009 issue with Jennelyn Mercado

FHM November 2009 Issue

It's a new month and of course it's what comes into my mind is the monthly FHM event. My friend told me that the FHM event with cover girl Jennelyn Mercado will be held in the first Thursday of the month. Good thing I already got a copy when it was released in the mall. With my review bout the magazines I can say I liked it specially the features, quality of the photos, more babes and more photos for the cover girl. For 125 bucks I can say that it's worth it.

Me and my friend Mark went to Galeria together and meet our other friends in the signing. The event started around 5:30pm and I'm the 2nd in the line (lol), this is the second time for me to meet Jennelyn Mercado and I can say she still looks pretty as she was before. What most of us noticed about the signing is she's like hmmmm not in the mood and she doesn't smile and accomodates compare to her previous signing January last year. Anyways I am happy my magazine is signed and it's another addition to my signed magazine collection.

* FHM Issue #1

I started buying FHM and not collecting yet during July 2006 because I'm hearing alot about the 100 sexiest FHM magazine and I got curious ang got one (July 2001). I can say it's really rough during my college days because I can't buy the monthly issues of FHM because of the projects, food and of course computer games addiction. When I started working and I am earning money already, I started buying the monthly issues and started to backtrack the issues that I missed. I was able to complete my FHM issues from 2002 to the current issue and recenlty just got my 2001 set. Last week on my way to a gig in Mag:Net BHS I dropped by in Glorietta then checked this particular Magazines store in the Ayala MRT station where you can find old Maxim, UNO and FHM magazines. Then I was shocked and show they have the 1st ever issue of FHM which is in Mint condition, it cost 1.5k which is cheap compared to the one's in ebay where they sell the #1 issue for 5k. Eventhough it's not in my budget, I bought the magazine as soon as possible and I'm happy because it's really a collector's item. Imagine the issue was published way back March 2000 and it's already October 2009.
