* Disney's Up (2009)

The film centers around a grumpy old man named Carl Fredricksen and an overeager Wilderness Explorer named Russell who fly to South America in a floating house suspended from helium balloons. The movie showed their adventures and struggles on their way to South America.

Since I saw the trailer of this movie, I told myself that I would watch it. I am not a fan or into 3-D films of movies for kids like these but I can say I was excited to watch it. Finally when I've heard that it's already showing in the cinemas I said that I would watch this movie on my restday. As per wikipedia the movie got positive feedback's which I agree and the movie has some sad parts but the movie is great and there's alot of things that would be learned especially for kids. Movie is hilarous and full of adventure

* Urbandub at Alabang Town Center 05.31.09

The last time we went to Alabang Town Center, we saw the banner that Urbandub will be performing again in there for the 4th time. I was able to watch the 1st and 2nd time but I missed the 3rd one. Donna went to our house around 1pm. We don't have any plans for that day but to hang out but I wanted to watch Urbandub and go out but the rain is really hard. We left the house around 4:30pm and went to ATC. The venue of the Urbandub mini concert was moved inside because of the rain outside. I have work at night and I decided to skip work and called in to be sick. The mini concert started around 7pm and The Ambassadors played first then followed by Urbandub. They sang alot of songs including Sailing, Gone, Fight is Over and more. I was able to take good shots as well.

After the Urbandub gig we decided to eat at Mexicalis and damn I was so full, it was our 2nd time to ate at Mexicalis and the 1st one was January 2009 at Greenbelt. After dinner we bought tickets for Terminator Salvation, I'm not a Terminator fan but I can say I liked the movie. Movie ended around 12:30am and good thing the rain has stop and we decided to go home and rest.

* 7 Pounds - Will Smith

It was our monthsary and me and my girlfriend decided to watch a movie on this day. We went to Alabang Town Center hoping that Valkyrie*Tom Cruise* is already showing too bad it's not so we just strolled around ATC and ate at Burger King. We decided to transfer to festival mall but still Valkyrie is not yet available so we chose 7 Pounds by Will Smith. I can't figure out the story at first and it's kinda boring but damn it was a really really good movie, same thing with Pursuit of Happyness. Movie was very emotional and dramatic and damn it almost made me cry. No spoilers but the movie was about a man changing peoples lives. Two thumbs up ^.^

* Saturday like it used to be

I was on leave from November 12 - 15 so after all of my misadventures and gimiks from wednesday to friday here comes Saturday. I was really excited because this day is for me and my girlfriend. It's been a while since we've been together in a Saturday just like it used to be with the previous years because usually saturday is my off but since I transferred to Alabang I was stucked in my Tue-Wed off =(

So there I woke up 1pm because of the gimik at ascend (Mossimo blog) on the previous night. My girlfriend went to our house around 2pm and we stayed their until 6pm and we decided to go to Alabang Town Center to have our dinner and watch a movie. We arrived 6:45pm and I bring Toki (my cam) with me because I recall that Urbandub will be playing. So before we ate dinner we watched Urbandub first. Nyctinasty played first before Urbandub and damn it was really crazy, I can say I really do enjoy watching them play. I took some photos of their gig.


After Urbandub we ate at Shakeys and then stroll around ATC and bought tickets for the last full show for Madagascar 2. We stayed at Powerbooks for a while and read some books and then when it's around 9:30 we went to the Cinema lobby and then decided to enter the cinema room and watch. Madagascar 2 was really a good and funny movie, I admit that I'm not a fan of cartoons or kiddie movies but I can say I like this movie. Movie ended around 12mn and then we decided to go home and take a rest. I'll miss this Saturday and hope me and my girlfriend can have more time this coming 2009 xoxo
