UAAP games for Men's basketball is on a two week break except the Women's and Junior's game which is held during weekends because of the FIBA Asia Championship happening in our country. I was assigned to cover the four Women's basketball game today.
I
woke up early and still thinking of what happened yesterday for not
getting my pair of Jordan 3 Fire Red. I arrived around 10am at San Juan Arena and covered the first game between UE and UP where UP won. I also covered the next games between UST and NU where NU won, Ateneo against ADMU where Adamson won and DLSU vs FEU which is the team that fight during the championship last season and FEU won and remain unbeaten for the first round.
The games ended around 4pm and while covering the games and I checked my facebook sneaker group, I found a few resellers of the shoe and I contacted three of them, One of them is selling the pair for 800 pesos more from the SRP but the pair got bought right away and there is this seller who is selling it for 9,000 pesos. I called his number and we almost closed a deal to meet in Tomas Morato, I was starving and skipped lunch because of my shoot that I decided to dropby Robinsons Galeria to eat first before going to meet the seller. Before I ate, I thought of dropping by at the Nike Park store in Robinsons, I saw a size 15 on display for the Jordan 3 Fire Red and I asked the staff if they have a size 10, 10.5 or 11 maybe for me, he said they only have size 12. I asked to fit the size 12 pair and when the staff came back he said they have a size 11.5 which is fine for me, I fitted the pair and it's fits fine because my Jordan 4 Fire Red and Jordan 11 Concord are both size 11. To end the story I cop the pair and went home happy for the SRP 8,195 pesos and I'm happy because it's a legit pair from Nike.
This maybe my last pair before my wife delivers our baby which is around the end of August or first week of September. I'm thankful for my wife for supporting me for my collections even though it is expensive.

* SADurday Jordan 3 Fire Red Release
I started collecting Jordan shoes this year, I already have three which is my Jordan 4 and 5 (Fire Red) and my Jordan 11 Concord. I missed getting the Jordan 13 He Got Game and Jordan 8 Playoffs release but I told myself that I will be getting the Jordan 3 Fire Red colorway which will be released today.
Me and workmate Bry who is also into Jordan shoes decided to go to Titan22 store at The Fort after work to get a pair. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to go online and get a reservation for the shoes.
We arrived at the store around 11am and I see people getting their pairs. I asked for a pair from the staff in Titan but he said all pairs are for RSVP only. We went to the nearest Nike store in Bonifacio High Street to check and we saw a short line, unfortunately the size left are 8.5 down and size 13 up. It was a sad day because I was really waiting for the release of the shoes and I have the money and I didn't get one. I can say I'm still new with the shoegame and now I learned my lesson.
I might just get the next Jordan 10 Steel Grey and Jordan 12 Taxi release and make sure to get a reservation. I felt sad by my only option is to get one from resellers. I told myself to just cheer for the Philippine team game today against Chinese Taipei for the FIBA Asica tournament,
Till the next Jordan release....

* UAAP Season 75 Volleyball DLSU vs ADMU Round 2
One of the biggest game for Philippine Volleyballis the game between DLSU Lady Spikers and the ADMU Lady Eagles held usually at San Juan Arena but now the game was held at SM Mall of Asia Arena. The place is jam packed and the first game is also a good one between UST and NU.
The bouncers and management are strict when it comes to photographer, good thing I was able to get a seat near the net from start until the game ends. The place is really loud with all the cheer and shout from the La Salle and Ateneo supporters. If you can remember both teams met during the UAAP Season 74 Finals where DLSU winning the series 2 games to 1.
The DLSU Lady Spikers defense helped them sweeping the game 3 sets to none. Best player of the game Michelle Gumabao scored and played defense helping the DLSU Lady Spikers remain at the top spot of the team standing.

* 2013 Condura Skyway Marathon
This is my first time to cover a Marathon. A friend asked me to join his team to cover the 2013 Skyway Condura Marathon which is held at Filinvest Alabang. The photos will be for pinoyfitness.com.
We arrived 3:30am at the venue and I am assigned at the finish line. It was a great experience and looking forward for the next marathon coverage.
Here are photos of the celebrities and famous personalities who attended the event

* Air Jordan V Retro
This will be my first kicks (shoe) for 2013 which is the Air Jordan V Retro which I got from Titan22 Taft, Metro Manila for 8,195 pesos. This is my first pair of Jordan shoes and I'm planning to get more in the future. The size of the shoe is bigger than my Nike Kobe shoes which is 10.5 so I bought a size 10. Thanks to my gf and to Titan. The Air Jordan V is awesome.
Posted are some of the photos of the Air Jordan V Retro.

* Starbucks Planner 2013
Here's my second entry for 2013 for my blog and it's another personal entry. I finally got my Starbucks Planner for 2013 with the help of my girlfriend. I can say that I'm not a coffee person but every time that Starbucks is starting the promo for the planner, I am starting to dropby at Starbucks to get some drinks and collect stickers for the planner. This is my 5th Starbucks planner and I do not want the streak to end. My planner is really important for me especially for schedules and 'to do's' with my personal and work task.

* Welcome 2013
Happy New Year!
Here is my first entry for 2013. I was really busy with my regular job and my job as a photographer with UAAP last year that is why I wasn't able to manage by blog regularly. One of my New Year's resolution is to update my blog with all of the photos and events that I covered and attended just like before. I can say that my 2012 was really different compared with the previous years, I focused with my UAAP job and time with my family and girlfriend.
This year is really something to look forward to. First is I wanted to thank God for all the blessings and guidance that was given to me and my loved ones and for our incoming baby of my girlfriend *soon to be my wife*. I'm really really excited because this is our first child and at the same time I'm nervous with the incoming responsibilities. I know everything will be fine and all we need is to be strong and guidance from God.
As mentioned, I'll continue updating my blog for this year and looking forward for 2013.
